HERAKLION: A serious electric scooter accident occurred in Ammoudara, with a woman of about 27 years old suffering serious head injuries after falling on the road. The injured woman was rushed to Venizelio Hospital, while the Police are investigating the case

The 27-year-old tourist who was injured on Tuesday afternoon (26/5) in an electric scooter accident in Ammoudara, Malevizi Municipality , is being hospitalized under close medical supervision .

According to reliable information from neakriti.gr, the young woman has multiple head injuries, but her life is not in danger.

The same information reports that it was not deemed necessary to undergo surgery, while doctors are closely monitoring the course of her health.

The accident occurred at approximately 3 pm, when – under circumstances that are still unclear – the 27-year-old lost control of the electric scooter she was riding and fell to the roadway, seriously injuring her head.

An EKAB ambulance immediately rushed to the scene, which transported her to Venizelio Hospital, while the Police, who are investigating the exact causes of the accident, have also been informed of the incident.
