At the same time, northerly winds will continue to prevail in the Aegean Sea with intensities reaching 6 to 7 Beaufort in places, keeping the meltemi wind high in the maritime areas.
The rise in temperature will become more noticeable from Sunday and will continue at the beginning of the new week, with the mercury locally approaching 36 and even 37 degrees Celsius in the western continental parts of the country.
