Miltos Tentoglou took second place in the long jump at the Rome meeting, which is part of the Diamond League series of competitions, with a best effort of 8.24 meters.
The Greek champion temporarily found himself at the top of the rankings with this jump, however, Bulgarian Bozidar Saraboyukov managed to reach 8.26m in his sixth and final attempt, securing first place.
Third place was taken by Cuban Lester Leskay Hodelin with a jump of 8.18 meters.
Giorgos Pomaski’s jumper started with 7.98m, continued with 8.07m, scored 8.11m twice in a row, while reaching 8.20m in the fifth jump and completing his performance with 8.24 meters.
