What happened with the strong winds at Kladissos beach on Friday afternoon?

The lifeguard’s efforts at Kladissos beach on Friday afternoon were titanic, in order to save two foreign minors who did not comply with the instructions and the red flag and entered the sea.

The lifeguard, as soon as he saw that they were in danger, dived in and managed to save one of the two young men.

The second one was swept away by the waves and even a drone had to be used to locate it.

He was finally found and brought to shore after almost an hour and a half of searching.

However, it was already too late, as he had lost his life and despite the efforts of the lifeguard, the coast guard and the ER with CPR, he was unable to come back to life.

Once again, the lifeguards point out that bathers must strictly comply with their instructions and strictly observe the provisions and prohibitions!

“We are not superhuman. We are doing everything we can to save a life! Everyone must respect our instructions. What else can I tell you?” points out the head of lifeguard coverage, Pavlos Litinakis.
