As announced by the organizing committee of the  Matala  Beach Festival, the festival will take place in Matala, Crete, on June 19, 20 and 21, 2026, inviting the public to three days full of music, dance and the special atmosphere that has characterized the event for years. With references to the values ​​of freedom, peace and love, the organizers bring back the spirit historically associated with the area, where the “flower children” once lived.

Matala Beach Festival 2026 returns for its 13th year, seeking to maintain its character as one of the largest and most popular summer festivals in Greece, attracting visitors from all over the country and abroad.

The organization has been undertaken by “Matala Municipality of Phaistos Municipal Corporation S.A.”, the Municipality of Phaistos and the Cultural Association of Pitsidia-Matala, while the Region of Crete is also participating in the co-organization, strengthening the effort to promote the region as an important cultural destination.
