The Greek champion once again confirmed his consistency in world-class performances, as he surpassed the six-meter barrier for the 21st time in his career, while it was the second time during the summer season that he recorded a similar performance.
Karalis began his race at 5.60 m, which he surpassed on his first attempt, as happened at 5.82 m. He then successfully passed 6.00 m, securing the top spot in the event, while he also tried his hand at 6.10 m, making remarkable efforts.
The next competitive obligation for the athlete, who is training under the guidance of Haris Karalis and Marcin Szczepanski, is the Diamond League meeting in Oslo on June 10.
Lightfoot took second place with a jump of 5.72 meters, while Simon Guttormsen was third with 5.60 meters.
