An “EasyJet” aircraft made an emergency landing in Chania on Friday afternoon (29/5), due to a passenger who caused serious inconvenience during the flight.
According to ERT, the flight had started from Glasgow to Uganda, but around 17:30 it was deemed necessary to head immediately to Chania International Airport “Ioannis Daskalogiannis”.
The reason for the diversion of the flight was the problematic behavior of a passenger, who made a fuss and did not obey the instructions of the crew.
Upon landing at the airport, police officers rushed to the scene and proceeded to arrest him, while, according to testimonies, he continued to react strongly.
After the man was removed, the aircraft was able to continue its journey to its destination normally.
