Morocco are “on the cusp” of qualifying for the “32” of the World Cup, after a 1-0 victory over Scotland in Boston. The Africans have 4 points in the first two matches of Group 3 and given that they face Haiti in the last match, their qualification should be considered certain.
The match lasted over 100 minutes including the delays of the two halves, but was decided by a goal scored 70 seconds after the opening kick! Brahim Diaz with a wonderful cross found Saibari who with a fantastic finish opened the score just 2 minutes in. Scotland were poor in the first half, making their first final attempt in injury time. They improved in the second, but the biggest chance belonged to the Moroccans when in the 50th minute, Saibari again shot, the ball hit a defender, gained height and found the crossbar
