Andreas Bouchalakis has signed for his home team. OFI announced today (19/6) the acquisition of the 33-year-old international midfielder, who signed a two-year contract with the Crete team. “The ‘multi-trophy’ and European, Andreas Bouchalakis in OFI,” the Heraklion team emphasizes in its relevant announcement. Andreas Bouchalakis’ last stop was Panetolikos, while he spent most of his career at Olympiacos, winning six Greek championships and two Greek Cups. OFI’s new transfer acquisition has also played abroad, specifically at Nottingham Forest, Konyaspor and Hertha.

“OFI 1925 FC announces the acquisition of international footballer Andreas Bouchalakis, who signed a two-year contract with our team.
Originally from Crete, the experienced midfielder, with extensive experience in European competitions (61 appearances in the Champions League & Europa League), was born on 05.04.1993 in Heraklion and took his first football steps at Ergotelis.
In 2013, he was acquired by Olympiacos, with whom he was crowned champion six times and Greek cup winner twice, participating in a total of 226 matches in domestic and European competitions.
He also played in England with the colors of Nottingham Forest (25 appearances), in Turkey with Konyaspor (12 appearances) and in Germany with Hertha (37 appearances).
In the summer of 2025, he returned to Greece and joined the Panetolikos team, with whom he recorded 34 appearances.
He has 47 appearances with the Men’s National Team, while he has also competed in the younger age groups of our representative team.
