Matala Beach Festival 2023 is coming

This year’s 10th Matala Beach Festival, returns after a three-year absence due to the global pandemic, will have an anniversary character.

This Matala Beach Festival will be renewed and will be unique, offering much more than what we are used to. A celebration of culture, fun and joy, in one of the most characteristic places of cultural heritage, the famous caves of Matala.

The dates have already been booked: 23 – 24 and 25 June 2023, all roads lead to Matala for the most musical festival of the summer organized by “Development Company of Pitsidia Matala” in cooperation and co-organization with the Municipality of Phaistos and the Cultural Association of Pitsidia Matala.

As every year, this year too, one week earlier, on June 18th, Matala Street Painting 2023 is organized, to fill Matala again with colors and wonderful messages of peace, friendship and love.

At this year’s festival, nothing will be the same. In its 10th anniversary event, Matala Beach Festival 2023 is coming once again to entertain you, but also to prove that the heart of the festivals in Crete, beats strongly in the south.

This year, no one will be missed!
